Join CYA in welcoming in the New Year at the Center for Wooden Boats west and north walls at South Lake Union. Docking is reserved from Dec 31 (noon) to January 1 (noon).
Assistance for docking is available after noon on Dec 31st from your fellow CYAers. Be prepared for rafting if need be.
Dinner: New Year’s Eve dinner on the Gyrfalcon and/or roaming the docks, weather permitting. The main course will be roast turkey prepared on the Gyrfalcon by Peter Mann. Your contribution will be potluck hors d'oeuvres, sides, and desserts. Bring a beverage of your choice to share. There is also a small charge of $5.00 from each boat to cover the main course which includes turkey, stuffing, gravy and cranberry sauce.
Be prepared to help with various chores if asked.
Fireworks: Due to new buildings in South Lake Union, we will need to walk south in the park to see the entire space needle during the fireworks, but you'll still be able to see the tip of the Space Needle and above from your boat.
Visitors on the Gyrfalcon are limited to vaccinated and symptom-free people, with a maximum 15 people on board at any given time.
We are looking forward to our time together! Click HERE to register.
