    SECOND ANNUAL
    PNW FLEET WINTER FIELD TRIP

    Come join us for the 2nd annual PNW Winter Field Trip, 10:00am Saturday, February 22nd.

    New CYA member Matt Levy will provide us with a guided tour of both USCG-11 (an 83-foot wooden Coast Guard Cutter that served as a D-Day rescue boat Boat Restoration | UCSG Tiburon) and Air Snipe (a 110-ft wooden WWII submarine chaser Air Snipe | Classic Yacht Register).  We will learn about their construction, military service, post-military use, and future plans.

    Meet us at 1801 Fairview Avenue E (on the east side of Lake Union), Suite 100 at 10:00am sharp.  This event is rain or shine.  USCG-11 is under restoration and has some holes in the decks and requires the use of ladders for access.

    Group limited to 25 people.  First-come, first served.  Please register below.

    Seattle Yacht Club is proud to host the

    7th Annual Women’s Boating Skills Weekend

    April 4th - April 6th, 2025 

    SYC Mainstation, Portage Bay, Seattle

    Launched in 2018, the SYC Women’s Boating Skills Weekend is a weekend full of speakers, workshops and social connections designed for women boaters from all over the Puget Sound - from Canada to Oregon.

    Women boaters will come together to learn, celebrate, and encourage each other in learning new skills, sharing experiences and will empower each other to take the helm – on and off the water. This is an event that you won’t want to miss!! 

    With new speakers and workshops added every year, it is an event that continues to evolve and entice attendees. Over 50 workshops offered including Boating Safety, Boat Maintenance, Electric Boating, Sailing, Communication, Navigation, Anchoring, Docking, Electronics, Chartering, Cruising the Puget Sound and Canada (including all the up-to-date details of how to get you and your boat into Canada), Knots and Lines, Roundtables, inspiring Keynote speakers and so much more. 

    General Weekend Overview: 

    Friday afternoon - Registration, Vendor Marketplace, Reception, and Dock Crawl. 

    Saturday - Breakfast, General Session, AM Workshops, Lunch, PM Workshops, and Dinner. 

    Sunday - Breakfast, AM Workshops, Optional Lunch, and PM Workshop.
