Bell Harbor Classic Weekend Info Page

The 2021 Bell Harbor Rendezvous is ON!  To be held at Bell Harbor Marina on June 18th - 20th, 2021, the Classic Yacht Association will gather ourselves and our vessels together for a wonderful weekend.

The pandemic will require that we do many things differently, but it is going to be a great event, and thanks once again to the superior fund raising skills of our Association Commodore and Event Chair, Diane Lander, free moorage and electricity is being provided to all participants for Friday and Saturday nights, June 18th and 19th.

If you want to come early and/or stay over Sunday night, contact Bell Harbor Marina at 206-787-3951 to make a reservation.  (Most of you have NO IDEA how expensive this event is!)  This year, even with a 20% discount which Diane was able to arrange on moorage and electricity, it will cost us $6,842.14 to buy out the marina for Friday and Saturday nights.

COVID RESTRICTIONS:  Masks on the dock and in common areas are mandatory.  Public tours of vessels are up to individual owners.  Dock gate will be locked and public access will be limited - two volunteers will staff gate.  Not more than 50 people at a time on the dock (or more if then COVID restrictions allow).  No gathering together.   Social distance at all times.  Let’s have a safe and successful event!

Itinerary is as follows:

Friday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. - Gather off Elliott Bay Marina for the beautiful parade into Bell Harbor.  We hope to be joined by the Seattle Fire Boat. Our dockmaster will direct vessels into the marina.  Our Parade Marshall will be PNW Commodore Bill Foulk aboard Endeavor, his 1963 45’ Mathews.  Look for the Navy Blue Hull off Elliott Bay Marina.  Parade details to be sent to parade participants separately.

  • Friday at 6:30 p.m.:  The Pacific Fisherman Shipyard Ice Cream Social under the tent on the dock - social distance while you enjoy ice cream and yummy toppings provided by our new CYA member Doug Dixon of PAC Fish.
  • Saturday at 8:00 a.m. - Continental Breakfast/Coffee on dock - take back to your boat no gathering together on dock.
  • Saturday - 10:00 a.m. - 4 p.m. Boat Show (see COVID explanation)
  • Saturday 6:00 p.m. - Individually boxed dinners delivered to your boat by CYA volunteers
  • Sunday - 8:00 a.m. - Same breakfast as Saturday
  • Sunday - 10:00 a.m. - 4 p.m. Boat Show
  • Sunday 4:30 p.m. - Awards and Departure

To sign up click on the form and sign up and pay for your dinners at $25.00 each.  Sign ups will close when we have filled the marina (+-50 boats) or on May 17th, whichever first occurs.  If you sign up and have to cancel please let us know so we can offer your spot to someone from the waiting list.
